COMPANY: Hilltip

Hilltip is offering new extended auger models of its AM series combination spreaders. Designed for use on today’s interchangeable truck bed systems, the extended auger allows the hopper to be positioned closer to the bulkhead of the truck for better weight distribution. Ranging in size from 2.0 to 4.2 cubic-yard capacities with polyethylene hoppers, the Hilltip AM series spreaders feature 6-inch stainless-steel augers for improved protection against corrosion and rust, and they can be powered by 12- or 24-volt dual motors. The hoppers include a vibrator and an inverted-V to help maximize material flow. For added versatility, AM series machines have integral liquid tanks ranging in capacity from 220 to 250 gallons. Pre-wetting nozzles, a dual spray bar and hose reel with a hand-held spray nozzle can be added for pre-wetting, anti-icing and deicing applications.

COMPANY: Milwaukee Tool

The M18 snow blower is a new solution that aims to be one of the most powerful single-stage snow blowers on the market, the company says, enabling professionals to work faster while offering quieter operation and better visibility in demanding winter conditions. Powered by the Powerstate brushless motor, Milwaukee’s new snow blower delivers 7.5 peak horsepower, enabling professionals to clear deep, heavy snow without stalling. This solution operates using two M18 Redlithium batteries and includes two additional battery terminals to extend runtime. When used with the included two M18 Redlithium Forge 12.0 batteries, this snow blower can clear 6 inches of average density snow for up to 11 car spaces or 500 feet of 3.5-foot-wide sidewalk. Designed for efficiency, this snow blower leverages a push-button start and a chute that is up to 40 percent wider. Featuring a rubber auger that propels the snow blower forward, this design reduces the strain of manual pushing through snow, a common frustration with metal augers, and ensures uninterrupted operation.
