Agri-Turf Distributing, Santa Fe Springs, Calif., opened for business as a supplier to professional pest, turf/ornamental and vegetation management professionals in Southern and Central California.
Rich Records, a former executive at Target Specialty Products, is president of the newly formed Agri-Turf Distributing and a 35-year veteran in the California specialty market. He is joined by former Target colleagues, Chuck Synold, Donna Browne and Tom Boyd.
Synold serves as regional manager for the Central Valley. Browne and Boyd manage sales territories in the southern California region. Each manager has over 30 years of experience in the specialty markets.
“When we were presented with the opportunity of starting a new company two things came to mind–first, this is a tremendous opportunity, and second, this is going to be a tremendous amount of work,” Records said. “We were correct on both accounts. What we did not anticipate at that time is the overwhelming amount of support that we have received from the industry–suppliers and customers alike–as well as the business community. We are grateful to the many people that have supported us.”
Agri-Turf Distributing’s main distribution center is located in Santa Fe Springs, Calif. A second office and warehouse is located in Fresno, Calif.
