Plant breeding Terra Nova Nurseries showcased its latest varieties a at the Beijing Florascape Co. (BJFC) 2026 Spring Flower Show. BJFC, a partner company of Terra Nova, hosted the 10th biennial spring exhibition April 8-18, 2026. The event also served for the first time as an official satellite venue for IPM Beijing, April 10-12.
Terra Nova perennial varieties were prominently displayed at the BJFC 2026 Spring Flower Show and received positive feedback from show attendees, according to the company. Genera featured at the exhibition included acanthus, anemone, athyrium, begonia, bergenia, brunnera, centaurea, coreopsis, corydalis, dicentra, echinacea, geum, heuchera, heucherella, penstemon, pulmonaria and thalictrum.
The 36,597-square-foot exhibition space featured both indoor and outdoor displays, blending local characteristics with international horticulture trends. Nearly 1,000 varieties of annuals, perennials, bedding plants, shrubs, trees and cut flowers were on display. Visitors were able to see the performance of different varieties firsthand, providing valuable insights and inspiration for future variety selections and orders.

Among the most popular Terra Nova varieties and series creatively showcased at the BJFC 2026 Spring Flower Show were Acanthus ‘Whitewater,’ Corydalis ‘Canary Feathers’ and the Geum Tempo Series.
The event also highlighted several horticultural business categories, including young plants, finished plants, garden design, landscaping and roof gardens. The concept of “healing gardens” was introduced at the show, an emerging trend within China’s horticulture industry. Terra Nova Nurseries noted a growing interest within the Chinese horticultural market for perennials and the company’s best-of-breeding varieties.
