Terra Nova Nurseries has unveiled its Pantone Color the Year 2026 plant list based upon PANTONE 11-4201 Cloud Dancer. The 2026 selection of Terra Nova plant pairings includes 20 varieties that reflect the airy white hue of Cloud Dancer through soft foliage textures and delicate flowers.

“Cloud Dancer’s calming character naturally aligns with Terra Nova’s 2026 companion plant selections,” said Chuck Pavlich, director of new product development at Terra Nova Nurseries. “The color’s discrete hue resonates through each variety, helping create plant combinations that feel ethereal, thoughtfully composed and ideal for landscape professionals and gardeners looking to introduce moments of harmony into their outdoor environments.”

Terra Nova Nurseries’ Pantone Color of the Year Varieties List:

  • Pantone’s 2026 Color of the Year is echoed in the white icicle-like flowers of Ajuga NOVA ‘White’.
  • Acanthus ‘Whitewater’ boasts 48-inch flower stalks, with similar off-white colors seen in Cloud Dancer.
  • Terra Nova’s Coreopsis SUNSTAR ‘Rose’ makes a suitable companion plant for Cloud Dancer with its white-edged, rose-eyed flowers that bloom from June through September.
  • Dicentra ‘Amore Titanium’ shows the essence of the 2026 Color of the Year through its white, heart-shaped flowers that contrast against blue-green foliage.
  • Echinacea ‘Fragrant Angel’ offers large, fragrant flowers layered with overlapping, horizontal white petals that mirror Cloud Dancer’s organic warmth.
  • Pantone’s Color of the Year shines in Echinacea ‘Fried Egg’, with its sweetly scented petals.
  • Echinacea CARA MIA ‘Sands’, a double-flowering echinacea, is a standout addition to Cloud Dancer-inspired gardens.
  • The light, ethereal tones are reflected in the perfect mound of white-daisy like flowers of Echinacea PRINCESS ‘Bride’, making it a true companion plant.
  • Terra Nova’s Helleborus NORTH STAR™ ‘Crystalline’ forms a gorgeous mound of shimmering white flowers that appear in late-winter and harmonize with Cloud Dancer.
  • Helleborus NORTH STAR ‘Ruby Heart’ boasts super showy wintertime flowers that are highly reminiscent of Pantone’s Color of the Year.
  • Pantone’s Cloud Dancer appears in the dainty, cream-white flowers of Heucherella ‘Peach Tea’ during the months of June and July.
  • The striking variegation featured on the foliage of Hosta ‘Raspberry Sundae’ finds synergy with the 2026 trending color.
  • Leucanthemum ‘Coconut’ aligns visually with Cloud Dancer, showcasing similar warm undertones in its white double daisies.
  • Leucanthemum ‘Lemon Puff’ is a delightful plant with masses of double lemon-yellow to white flowers that complement this year’s Color of the Year.
  • Terra Nova’s Leucanthemum ‘Macaroon’ boasts white double flowers at maturity, exhibiting similar neutral tones seen in Cloud Dancer.
  • The 2026 Color of the Year stands out in the large, double flowers with crystal-like petals of Leucanthemum ‘Mt. Hood’, adding serenity to borders, mass plantings and containers.
  • Penstemon NOVA ‘Pearl’ is covered with pearlescent, tubular flowers that add a hint of Cloud Dancer to gardens from June through October.
  • Pantone’s Color of the Year forms a natural match with Plectranthus NOVA ‘Brilliant’, a self-branching, vigorous variety with brilliant, white-edged variegated foliage.
  • Thalictrum NIMBUS ‘White’ captures the billowy essence of Cloud Dancer with its masses of white, cloud-like flowers.
  • The calming and inviting nature of Cloud Dancer is visible in the profuse flower spikes of Terra Nova’s Tiarella ‘Spring Symphony’
