Earth & Turf Products released a new human-powered compost spreader.
The new compost spreader is Model 45HP and the first of its kind, according to the company.
The economical, walk-behind unit is the ideal topdresser for spreading screened compost with up to 25 percent moisture content. The unit’s three-wheel maneuverability makes it possible to get jobs done quickly, even in tight quarters.
The 45HP features a 4.5 cu. ft. hopper capacity, to minimize the need to reload. At 30 in. wide, it spreads materials using a reciprocating screen design. With one pass, this spreader design produces an even, full-width spread pattern, 1/8 to 1/4 in. thick.
