Solu-Cal USA’s flagship product, Solu-Cal Enhanced Calcitic Lime, was granted Organic Materials Review Institute (OMRI) listing, meaning it meets criteria for use in certified organic production.
Solu-Cal Enhanced Calcitic Lime is included in the OMRI’s crop fertilizers and soil amendments classification and calcium carbonate categories.
Proven to be 75 percent more effective than traditional pelleted lime, according to the company, one 50-pound bag of Solu-Cal Enhanced Calcitic Lime is equally as effective as four 50-pound bags of standard lime. The product adjusts soil pH in as little as six to eight weeks, and the use of its patented PHCA organic humic/fulvic acid technology increases the availability of applied and stored nutrients in the soil. In addition, Solu-Cal Enhanced Calcitic Lime is treated with a coating that results in less dust during application.
