Dow AgroSciences welcomed Paul Simons as the new commercial director for its U.S. urban pest management business.
Simons replaces Dave Morris, who recently was named U.S. government and public affairs leader for Dow.
In his new role, Simons will oversee pest management and turf and ornamental marketing activities nationwide and will lead global business efforts for the Sentricon System, a termite baiting system, and dithiopyr, the active ingredient in Dimension specialty herbicide.
Most recently, Simons served as the global strategic asset director for The Dow Chemical Co. Before joining Dow in 2009, he worked eight years with Kimberly-Clark Corp. in research and development, engineering, operations and logistics roles. He holds a M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a B.S. in mechanical engineering from the Missouri University of Science and Technology.
