Hillside Planter develops product to help plant material on hillsides and slopes

|

Hillside Planter developed its new Hillside Planter product, a planter designed to address issues caused by planting on a hillside or steep slope.

The company is based in Thousand Oaks, Calif., and is owned and operated by Colleen Talbert.

The planter can help landscape pros cut down on hillside watering by up to 40 to 50 percent, according to the company.

By creating a level surface, the product allows water to penetrate toward the plant. It helps keep the soil rich by reducing erosion and prevents water runoff while also collecting water from above.

Additionally, the company said the system aids drip irrigation systems in working more efficiently.
