Exmark will offer a suspended operator platform option on its Lazer Z S-Series commercial zero-turn mowers this spring. The new model is an addition to the 2026 product line.
The Exmark suspended operator platform uses three coil-over hydraulic dampers to significantly reduce the impact of bumps and vibration reaching the operator. The design is quick and easy to adjust without tools for virtually any operator weight or ride preference. The coil-over dampers are designed to deliver a lifetime of maintenance-free performance.
Exmark marketing manager Lenny Mangnall said the new model came at the request of Exmark customers, many of whom already own the previous generation of suspension platform equipped Lazer Z models.
“After quietly discontinuing our suspension platform equipped Lazer Z models a few years back, each year we’ve seen a steady increase in customer requests for its reintroduction,” Mangnall said. “It’s one of those features that, for crews mowing rough, uneven terrain, is a game changer. Whether it’s to replace aging machines, or simply add to their fleet, contractors were asking for the mowers, so we made it a priority to make it happen for 2026.”
The suspended operator platform also includes Exmark’s patented Iso-Mount seat isolation system, which provides controlled lateral and vertical isolation to further improve ride quality. When combined with the wide, contoured seat profile and elastomeric foam seat base, the suspension platform equipped Lazer Z S-Series delivers all-day comfort.
The Lazer Z S-Series is also available with a 60-inch UltraCut Series 4 cutting deck and a Kawasaki FX801V engine, and features four annual grease points and maintenance-free sealed bearing spindle assemblies.
On-board diagnostics keep the operator informed with an electronic fuel gauge, battery voltage warning, hour meter and OPC safety switch monitoring. A large 12-gallon fuel tank provides extended runtime between fill-ups.
