Belgard’s display at the GIE+EXPO in Louisville, Ky., showcased Collections by Belgard. These collections group products and textures in themes to better help outdoor designers, contractors and homeowners find complementary product offerings that pair with a home’s style or design.
Joe Raboine, director of residential hardscapes for Belgard, says the collections are part of a broader trend with consumers seeking to live biophilic lives, where they are not only a part of the landscape but are making a conscious effort to live and work outdoors.
“These spaces can improve people’s lives,” said Rabione.
The Collections by Belgard launched earlier this year in select markets with nationwide rollout slotted for 2020. The featured collections include:
Legacy – This Collection features the traditional aesthetic and classic spirit with old-world charm. The Legacy Collection features soft edges and ground or split-face textures to create a time-honored stone look.

Heritage – Where traditional style meets modern convenience, the Heritage Collection allows for a time-worn aesthetic without the wait. Antiqued and tumbled with every piece unique, this collection adds charm and warmth to neutral palettes.

Natural – The Natural Collection embraces the casual spirit of life without borders through the organic warmth of natural paver stone textures. The laid-back, design-forward collection is perfect for combining old and new or creating hardscaped spaces that can live in harmony with natural surroundings.

Metropolitan – Strong lines paired with smooth textures give the Metropolitan Collection a bold, modern look. This streamlined, contemporary aesthetic emphasizes natural light and neutral tones with wood accents to give a modern flair with a homey feel.

Porcelain – Versatile and ultra-contemporary, the Porcelain Collection pairs a streamlined, upscale appearance and paver performance. Compact, stain- and weather-resistant and virtually non-porous, this collection provides a modern aesthetic best complemented by blacks, whites and other pale neutrals.

Environmental – The Environmental Collection is a true marriage of form and function and with products that prevent rainwater from pooling and filter the water to reduce pollution. Classic lines and multiple finish styles offer stunning hardscapes to complement both traditional and modern architecture. Rabione says environmental and green designs will dominate the hardscape industry within the next 10 years.
