The National Association of Landscape Professionals (NALP) partnered with Cengage Learning and ed2go to deliver online courses that help train and develop staff members’ skills.
The online courses are typically 12 lessons and take about six weeks to complete. There are more than 100 courses to choose from including, leadership, supervision, QuickBooks accounting, Microsoft Office products and Speed Spanish.
“We know that the winter season is a key time for staff training and development, and we hope this low-cost solution for self-directed education offers companies a good resource,” said Sabeena Hickman, CEO of NALP.
