LM has teamed up with the National Association of Landscape Professionals and Turf Books to overhaul the Operating Cost Study for the landscape industry, last published by NALP in 2012.
We’re seeking landscape companies of various sizes and service mixes to participate in the survey.
The revised study will be a key source of benchmarking information for industry members to analyze their companies, identify trends and help with strategic planning.
Survey participants will receive a free electronic copy of the completed report (a $99 value for NALP members; $199 value for nonmembers) once it’s published this fall.
To participate:
- Download and complete the input form. Participants also may submit 2015 year-end P&Ls/balance sheets on a voluntary basis. Information will be kept confidential and will be used only to report in aggregate in the study. Click here to download a copy of the Operating Cost Study input form (Excel).
- Send the completed input form to Dan Gordon, CPA, and principal at Turf Books (dan.gordon@wealthdepotmail.com) by Nov. 30.
Participants also may benefit from viewing the recorded version of the webinar conducted on June 15 or downloading the Operating Cost Study webinar PowerPoint presentation (PDF). The webinar provides background information on the study, how the data will be used and also gives insights into key performance indicators, benchmarking and ratio analyses.
