LawnStarter lands $1 million in seed round financing

The funds came from several angel investors including Rob Taylor, Cotter Cunningham, Pat Matthews and venture fund Vayner RSE, headed up by Gary Vaynerchuk, according to the article.

LawnStarter was founded in 2013 as a mobile app to connect homeowners with lawn care companies. It currently operates in the Washington, D.C. area, Austin, Texas, and Orlando, Fla.
