SAN FRANCISCO — Janet Moyer Landscaping (JML), a full service landscaping company in San Francisco devoted to addressing the unique challenges of urban gardens, has promoted Chelsea Heimbuch-Skaley to installation supervisor.

Heimbuch-Skaley joined the company in 2011 as installation landscaper following a competition she won in the annual San Francisco Professional Gardeners’ Association Summer Fellowship program. Over eight weeks she worked for 5 different landscape companies earning training and skills at each one. At the end of the fellowship, she was offered a job at two of the companies and accepted the position at JML.

Prior to this, Heimbuch-Skaley was self-employed as a gardener and farmer in San Francisco involved with the production and maintenance of vegetables, and working with clients on year round production. Earlier she was a landscaper with Robert Bozzini Enterprises in San Francisco, where she detailed landscaping for high-end properties in the city along with installation and maintenance of ornamental plants and turf.

Heimbuch-Skaley is earning a certificate in landscape construction design maintenance at City College of San Francisco and earned a bachelor’s of arts degree in photography and philosophy from Simmons College in Boston. She is a resident of San Francisco.
