Ruppert Landscape, located in Laytonsville, Md., promoted Mike Felts to operations manager of its Maryland landscape construction branch.
Felts will be responsible for all aspects of production in the branch, including field operations, personnel, vehicles and equipment, safety, subcontracts, direct cost accounts and selected overhead expenses.
Prior to Ruppert, Felts was a partner in a general contracting company in North Carolina and served six years as a sergeant in the U.S. Army, which included a deployment to Afghanistan for two of those years. In his three-year tenure at Ruppert, he has served in the roles of estimator and production manager and now operations manager.
Felts is 2005 graduate of Virginia Tech, where he majored in business management.
