Cercis Canadensis ‘Appalachian Red’ is a new selection of native redbud. It is covered with pink flowers in the spring that are said to be a brighter shade of pink than other redbuds. It is well suited to partial shade. Appalachian Red is hardy in zones 5 to 8.
