Less than three years after introducing The Grounds Guys franchise to the United States through an agreement with Canadian founders Sunshine Brands, The Dwyer Group has awarded the 100th The Grounds Guys franchise contract to entrepreneur Jason Borawski of Monmouth, N.J.
Borawski, who started working in a family landscape management business 20 years ago, has owned his own landscape management company for 11 years. Following a series of business setbacks tied to the struggling financial climate, he began searching for a system to restore and grow his business. A call from The Grounds Guys convinced him that a national franchise brand might be the solution.
“I have never met a group of people more committed to helping me succeed,” said Borawski. “I am thrilled to be joining The Grounds Guys as their 100th franchise owner, and I have already learned so much that will help take my business to the next level.”
The company delivers expert care to both residential and commercial clients through a comprehensive range of expert services including grounds care, lawn maintenance, tree planting, and snow and ice removal. It was founded in Orangeville, Ontario in 1987 by 10 brothers with a vision to create a landscape management company built around a Culture of Care.
“We are very proud to have reached this significant milestone in little more than two years,” The Grounds Guys President Ron Madera said. “Thanks to the hard work of our team, The Grounds Guys franchises are building stronger businesses, spreading a Culture of Care, and beautifying communities all across America.”
Borawski’s franchise location is scheduled to open in May, 2013, in Monmouth, N.J. The Grounds Guys plans to continue its growth momentum throughout 2013, and has launched a new website with information for entrepreneurs interested in the landscape management franchise opportunity.
