HERNDON, VA—In its second year, the Professional Landcare Network’s (PLANET’s) Green Industry Great Escape (GIGE) will focus on networking and out-of-the-box thinking for business success.

The GIGE will take place at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, Feb. 21–23. It is designed for landscape industry company owners, upper-level management, and key personnel.

Headlining sessions include topics such as becoming a more powerful leader, presented by nationally recognized media expert Janine Driver, getting a business edge presented by engagement expert Jon Petz, and looking at ways to rethink your company with entrepreneur Tony Bass.

Education combined with networking sessions will be led by Bruce Wilson, from Wilson-Oyler Group, who will host a Q&A discussion about PLANET peer groups and how peer learning can facilitate business success. Roger Phelps, Landscape Industry Certified, STIHL promotional communications manager, will sponsor and co-host a breakfast session about cause marketing with Bill Brunelle from Independent We Stand. And Jim Paluch, of JP Horizons, will host an interactive “scatter” brainstorming session that will help companies become wiser and ultimately more effective.

Attendees may also participate in a number of special events, tours, and receptions.

For schedule information or to register, visit www.landcarenetwork.org/greatescape. Early-bird pricing is in effect until Jan. 28.

GIGE is approved for PLANET Landscape Industry Certified recertification at 1 CEU per hour of instruction attended.

The conference is sponsored at the Platinum Level by Caterpillar, at the Gold Level by Bayer, and at the Silver Level by John Deere.
