Coastal Source is expanding its EVO outdoor lighting platform with the introduction of three Press Fit Marker fixtures that provide professionals with new directional lighting options for pathways, steps, walls and other architectural landscape features.
Part of the company’s EVO lighting platform, the new Press Fit Marker fixtures reflect Coastal Source’s focus on combining refined outdoor design with the durability required for long-term performance in rugged and demanding environments. Compact and visually unobtrusive, the fixtures are engineered to integrate seamlessly into hardscape surfaces while delivering precise, consistent illumination, according to the company.
The line includes three beam-pattern options, bi-directional, 360-degree and 180-degree marker lights, giving lighting designers and integrators greater flexibility when shaping outdoor lighting scenes. Each fixture combines Coastal Source’s solid brass construction with refined optical control to deliver low-glare illumination while standing up to the conditions typical of outdoor installations.
All three fixtures incorporate the company’s 360+ LED Module, which integrates the LED chip, drive electronics, cabling connections and optics into a compact, thermally efficient package. The watertight, field-serviceable module design enables the fixture to maintain the compact form factor that defines the EVO platform while delivering reliable performance in outdoor installations.
“The EVO platform is designed to give designers powerful lighting tools that remain visually unobtrusive within the landscape,” said Franco D’Ascanio, CEO of Coastal Source. “These new Press Fit Marker fixtures extend that philosophy further by providing versatile architectural lighting that integrates seamlessly into hardscape surfaces while delivering precise illumination exactly where it is needed.”
Each Press Fit Marker fixture measures just 0.5 inches above the mounting surface and is constructed from solid brass for durability in outdoor environments. Designed for installation in a 1 3/8-inch hole or 1 1/4-inch conduit, the fixtures can be mounted in steps, retaining walls, pathways and other architectural elements where subtle, reliable illumination is desired.
The bi-directional marker light projects light simultaneously in opposite directions, making it suitable for step lighting and pathway transitions. The 360-degree marker light provides even illumination in all directions, ideal for open pathway or landscape accent lighting. Finally, the 180-degree marker light produces a half-circle beam pattern designed for directional lighting applications along walls, edges and architectural features.
Available in vintage brass, black, white and nickel finishes, each fixture delivers 100 lumens of output at just 1 watt of power consumption and operates at 10–18VAC. Designers can select 2700K or 3000K color temperatures, with optical filters including clear, frosted and two opaque options for additional glare control and output shaping.
As with all EVO lighting products, Coastal Source’s Plug+Play connectivity helps ensure dependable performance in environments exposed to moisture, temperature changes and other elements, meeting or exceeding IP66 testing standards, according to the company.
