Weathermatic has received a minority growth investment led by Rock Hill Capital, with co-investment from True West Capital Partners.

The investment will support Weathermatic’s commitment to delivering value through advanced irrigation technology to landscape professionals, property owners and asset managers.

The investment comes at a time of significant change in the landscape and irrigation industry, as contractors face increasing labor scarcity, rising operational complexity and growing expectations from private equity-backed customers to scale efficiently and enhance margins. Weathermatic
has long focused on helping customers do more with fewer resources. This partnership supports the Company’s mission to lead the industry through automation, remote management, and technology-enabled productivity.

Weathermatic’s growth had been funded internally until this investment, reflecting a long-term approach to building the business. The Company’s leadership, values, operations and mission remain fully intact.

“We are entering a pivotal phase of growth, and this investment partnership strengthens Weathermatic’s position to meet increasing demand for water-saving technology and irrigation operations software at scale,” said Mike Mason, CEO. “Weathermatic has always been mission-driven, and this capital allows us to accelerate our product innovation roadmap to continue transforming water management and commercial irrigation operations.”

Weathermatic’s platform brings together connected irrigation controllers, cloud-based software and field services to help customers manage water use across property portfolios and to increase labor efficiency for landscape professionals. Customers use Weathermatic’s SmartLink controllers and software platform to decrease water waste, reduce operating costs and advance sustainability goals.

“Weathermatic has long understood the operational challenges faced in water management and irrigation operations, and the team has built a platform that creates clear payback for customers by improving efficiency and enabling contractors to scale despite labor constraints. Having followed their progress for several years, we are excited to support their growth with capital and strategic resources, including experience evaluating strategic acquisitions and extending Weathermatic’s technology platform into adjacent applications,” said Randy Hale, founder and managing director of Rock Hill Capital.

The investment will allow Weathermatic to accelerate product innovation and development of next-generation software features and expand its customer success and operational resources to support continued growth.
