Terra Nova Nurseries recently hosted its 2025 Open House event at the company’s facility in Canby, Ore., during the Farwest Show week, Aug. 18-22. The event attracted a crowd of nearly 100 guests across the horticulture industry, including growers, buyers, brokers and other trade professionals.

Terra Nova’s Open House provided a welcoming and casual opportunity to venture throughout the company’s display gardens. Guests connected with Terra Nova’s breeding and sales teams got a first-hand look at the company’s latest variety introductions and learned about the inspiration behind these new varieties.

Guests were treated to an array of giveaways, including seed storage boxes, garden bucket hats, sample flats, repotting mats, soil scoops and brushes, personal belt fans, glass lens cleaners and inventive “propagation buddies” designed to hold stem cuttings during rooting.

“The energy and enthusiasm throughout the week were incredible,” said Larry Finley, sales manager at Terra Nova Nurseries. “There’s nothing quite like seeing people walk through our gardens, ask questions, and share their excitement over our latest breeding breakthroughs and cultivars; it keeps us inspired to think about what is next and how we can continue pushing the boundaries of unique horticulture.”

Terra Nova Nurseries, building on and energized by the success of this year’s event, is already setting its sights on 2026 to address the positive feedback and overall buzz captured from guests eager to return for the next Open House, slated for August 2026. The company’s management team plans to continue expanding its Open House program, offering green-industry professionals even more opportunities to experience Terra Nova’s display gardens, connect with the people behind the brand and learn more about the exceptional work that defines Terra Nova’s horticulture breeding.
