Toro, a provider of solutions for the outdoor environment including turf and landscape maintenance, snow management, rental and construction equipment and irrigation solutions, released its newest precision irrigation solution: 17 mm Drip In Brown surface dripline.

The product integrates a larger, clog-resistant emitter into the industry-standard 17 mm dripline.

Drip irrigation is an effective and efficient way to water targeted areas of the landscape. With improvements like dual-opposed outlets, laser etching and upgraded packaging, new 17 mm Drip In simplifies installation for the contractor and increases reliability for the customer,” said Craig Gaines, product marketing manager for Toro’s Precision Irrigation Business. “It’s another example of Toro’s ongoing effort to better meet our customers’ needs.”

The most vital benefit of the new 17 mm Drip In Brown surface dripline is its clog resistance, according to the company. Its unique emitter design contains a debris-resistant raised inlet and dual outlets, which act both as an air relief valve when installed at-grade and a backup outlet.

Toro 17 mm Drip In is sized to the industry standard, which allows for versatility and grows options for the installer. It is especially suited for retrofits and system expansions.
