Target Specialty Products is launching Turf Fuel Mitigate, designed for turf professionals to condition high-performance turfgrass to tolerate extreme stress.
Mitigate contains 5 percent nitrogen, sea kelp, reacted sugars and the biostimulant group Templar to help prepare turf for intense stress.
“During university trials, Mitigate provided enhanced stress tolerance during the hottest times of summer as well as during the coolest and wettest times in winter,” said Eric Miltner, Ph.D., product development manager, at Target Specialty Products.
Mitigate is the second product in the Turf Fuel portfolio that includes Templar technology. Templar was introduced as a component in Infinite in 2021.
Templar includes two active ingredients: a collection of amino acids and a phytochemical, Bio M. According to the company, these ingredients optimize water use, improve stomatal efficiency and enhance energy production even under environmental stress. Bio M. offers potent antioxidant and stress-fighting properties, enabling turf to excel under UV damage, drought and temperature fluctuations.
