Hunter Industries updated its microirrigation offerings with redesigned point-source emitters with new colors that blend into the surrounding environment according to the company. The emitters apply water slowly and directly to the plant.

According to the company, the redesigned emitters offer a range of benefits including:

  • Maximum efficiency: Apply water slowly at the base of the plant to conserve water.
  • Visual verification: Five earth-tone color options, each representing a different flow.
  • Ideal for slopes: Check valve holds back up to 12 feet of head (HEB emitters with check valve only).
  • Optional diffuser cap: Gently distributes water with an incoming high flow rate while preventing clogging and erosion.
  • Made in the USA: Manufactured in Hunter’s state-of-the-art ISO 9001:2015 certified facility.

For total design flexibility, the emitters are available in self-piercing ¼-inch barb, 10-32 threaded, and ½-inch FPT options with five flow rates: 0.5, 1.0, 2.0, 4.0, and 6.0 GPH.
