On Sept. 30 at 12 p.m. PDT, Jain Irrigation will host a conversation with Britt Wood, CEO, and Andrew Bray, vice president of government relations for The National Association of Landscape Professionals.

During the lunch and learn session, they will discuss the state of the landscape industry, how the industry is holding up under COVID-19, the latest in government affairs issues and take a look at how the election may impact the industry.

Britt Wood was named the CEO of NALP, which represents more than 1 million landscape, lawn care, irrigation and tree care professionals across the country, in September 2019. Prior to joining NALP, Wood spent more than two decades in trade association executive leadership roles, most recently as senior vice president of business development and industry relations for the Consumer Healthcare Products Association. Previously, Wood held positions with the International Foodservice Distributors Association, American Society of Civil Engineers, Loss Prevention Foundation and the Retail Industry Leaders Association.

Andrew Bray has been the vice president of government relations for NALP since 2018. Bray is a seasoned association advocate, having worked in a government relations capacity for the North American Meat Institute, the Grocer Manufacturers Association and most recently as the vice president of public policy at the National Pest Management Association. Early in his career, Bray honed his policy, advocacy and political skills working on Capitol Hill in a Congressional Office and while working on multiple federal, state and local campaigns. Bray earned his law degree in 2013 and maintains an active license to practice law in the state of Virginia.

The webinar is part of the Jain Irrigation Training Series.
