Yanmar Compact Equipment’s Stowable Utility Hook provides a factory designed lifting point for Yanmar compact excavators without the need to use an attachment. A designated lifting point reduces the risk of damage to the machine or attachments from crews using straps or chains to lift heavy objects.
Designed to lift heavy objects, the utility hook improves equipment longevity and overall safety by providing a dedicated lifting point. The stronger lifting position reduces strain on the end of the arm or the attachment from workaround solutions.
A strap or chain draped around an attachment or a bucket tooth can warp tools, risking equipment failure when applying weight to an area not designed to carry it.
The hook features a multidirectional design that allows it to swing in each direction and swivel 360 degrees. The swivel hook stows out of the way with an easy-to-operate lock pin when not in use.
The hook can be retrofitted onto all Yanmar compact excavator models from the ViO25 up to the SV100. Installation can be completed in as little as 20 minutes.
