Whisper Aero today opened preorders of the much anticipated Tone T1 leaf blower at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES).
The handheld leaf blower pairs breakthrough quiet power with professional performance, already recognized as a winner of the 2025 New York Product Design Awards. Whisper Aero has previewed early silent leaf-blower prototypes to high market interest, and now it premieres its first commercial product under its outdoor air management brand Tone.
“Whisper Aero was founded on a passion to achieve a quieter world, in the air and on the ground. The Tone T1 leaf blower is the first product to use aerospace-grade technology derived from my years at NASA, where I pioneered electric aircraft,” said Whisper Aero CEO Mark Moore. “The T1 achieves breakthroughs not only in ultra-low noise but also with higher efficiency to provide longer battery runtime. It’s also the most powerful handheld — compare us to any other leaf blower, and we literally blow them away.”
Powered by Whisper Aero’s UltraQuiet propulsion technology, the T1 produces 880 cubic feet per minute (CFM) and 25 newtons of blowing force, outperforming leading gas handhelds by 60 percent, according to the company. At peak thrust, it operates at only 52 dB(A), which is approximately 60 percent quieter than the top battery blowers available today and 80 percent quieter than gas, addressing noise challenges without compromising the performance required to keep communities clean.
Across the United States, the shift away from gas-powered leaf blowers has accelerated. In 2021, more than 100 cities took action to funnel what has grown into a sweeping movement that now reaches across entire states. As states like California and Colorado phase out gas-powered lawn equipment, new city regulations have emerged with HOAs, neighborhood groups and school districts introducing quiet hours to protect daily routines.

- Integrated LED night light: Work peacefully at dawn, dusk or low-light environments with a built-in 400 lumen light that doesn’t disturb neighbors. With a 4,000 Kelvin and 95-plus CRI Cree LED emitter, natural light illuminates the way.
- 54V, 5.0 Ah lithium-ion high-capacity battery system: A long-lasting, swappable battery provides extended runtime with no cords and no fumes. Operates for up to 50 minutes in Eco.
