Keeping ownership in the Weed Man network, the master franchisor for the U.S. — spearheaded by CEO Roger Mongeon — has formed a new company, TH Canada, and has taken over leadership of the Canadian territories.

In total, the team now oversees more 680 territories worldwide, according to the company. Jennifer Lemcke, COO of Weed Man, will work with franchisees to continue building on the brand’s legacy and grow the brand as one cohesive unit.

“The transition has been exhilarating, and my team respects the responsibility we now have to take this recognized brand to new heights as we enter the future as a united front,” Lemcke said. “The legacy Des (Rice) and Brenda (Rice) built is that of hard work, dedication to the brand and passion behind the team of franchises and their employees. Thanks to Brenda’s vision and commitment to the customer, Weed Man has thrived throughout the last five decades in Canada and beyond.”

In other Weed Man news, Brenda Rice, president and co-founder, announced her retirement after nearly 50 years with the company.
