Walker Manufacturing, a producer of zero-turn mowers with year-round attachment capabilities, was awarded a Sourcewell cooperative purchasing contract in the Grounds Maintenance Equipment and Related Attachments category. This contract expands Walker’s ability to provide government, educational and nonprofit organizations with access to its mowing solutions across North America.

Established in 1978, Sourcewell empowers more than 50,000 participating agencies by simplifying procurement through competitively solicited, pre-negotiated contracts. By leveraging Sourcewell’s purchasing program, eligible agencies can acquire Walker Mowers and attachments with improved efficiency, cost-effectiveness and compliance assurance.

Walker Manufacturing earned this contract by requesting for a proposal (RFP) process. The agreement ensures public agencies can secure Walker’s equipment without the complexities of traditional bidding processes, expediting access to the company’s products for grounds maintenance and turf care.

“This contract marks a significant milestone for Walker Manufacturing as we continue to support public agencies with best-in-class mowing solutions,” said Walker president Ryan Walker. “Through Sourcewell, we are making it easier than ever for agencies to equip themselves with the reliability, performance and versatility that Walker is known for.”
