Scott Hollister: Well, hey everybody. It’s Scott Hollister, the Editor-in-Chief of Landscape Management magazine, and we are wrapping up things here in Louisville, Ky., Equip Expo 2024. It’s day three. I am flying solo today. So did want to give just a quick recap, a little bit shorter day today, which I think everyone probably appreciates. We got some some tired legs, some tired feet, but I still was able to get out and about to see some pretty some pretty cool things. Met with friends at Develon, saw one of their new, compact pieces of equipment. Ran into the folks at Honda, so I got to see some of their battery powered stuff. Started my day off with a meeting with Ariens Gravely and our friends at Greenzie, and they have a new prototype mower that should be coming online here in 2025. All autonomous, so just a ton of technology. That’s I think, what I’m going to take away most from this year’s event is the amount of technology that is coming into the business, whether that’s autonomous, whether that’s battery powered, whether those are software packages that will let landscape contractors and lawn care operators do their jobs better, faster, more efficiently. It was just everywhere you looked during Equip Expo 2024. Also want to shout out everyone who took part in Landscape Management’s education sessions while they were here, they went great. Hopefully they learned a lot. And that was my number one goal for the ones that I moderated, is I wanted everyone to walk away with one item that they could put into effect at their business when they got back. And hopefully that occurred. So it’s been a great stay in Louisville, Ky. I can’t say I’m not ready to head home and see the family in my own bed for a little bit, but it’s been a great time, as always, at Equip Expo 2024. Thanks for following along. We’ll have all sorts of coverage coming between now and really the next several months, as we roll out videos and various things that we did here. So the stories will keep coming, and we appreciate you following along.
