Jeffrey Scott’s Summer Growth Summit featured a behind-the-scenes view of Ryan Lawn & Tree, located in Merriam, Kan. Attendees talked about the overall camaraderie and growth opportunities they gained from the event.

Transcription:

CARAMANICO: The event’s been awesome. It’s just great learning from other contractors, their best practices. Excited to take some new information home and try to implement it at our company.

LEWIS: We’re all competitors, but when you come to a separate setting like this, you get behind the scenes. You get to understand exactly what they do and how they do it, and then hopefully take away just maybe a little nugget that will work for your business.

RICK: What it’s getting me to do is think more about opportunities and getting my mind out of daily operations and actually thinking about growth opportunities, growth potential for employees and management and different things like that. So it’s really beneficial.

MOYER: Since landscaping is an inherently like local, market driven thing, I think that’s been a cool part of this industry. For me is that, you know, people are willing to get together from all across the country and sort of open up their business to others and share what’s been successful for them.

BRANT: This great opportunity to meet with other folks. We come back with fresh concepts, fresh ideas, you know, kind of share with the industry’s up to it’s, it’s a nice opportunity that way.
