The self-propelled SC362 stump cutter is equipped with a 35-hp Vanguard gas engine and belt driven cutter head, as well as with a hydraulic drive system and front wheel steering. A two-speed ground drive system allows for fast transport between stumps and to and from the trailer. With a 47-in. cutting width, the 50-in.-wide SC362 makes short work of stump removal projects. A 17-in. cutter wheel is equipped with the Vermeer-exclusive Yellow Jacket cutter system. This system features universal and reversible carbide-tipped teeth, with two cutting edges on each tooth and more side pocket clearance, which limits pocket rubbing that can cause power loss and premature pocket wear. Maintenance is more efficient because the operator simply loosens one nut and rotates the tooth for an almost-new cutting surface.
