ValleyCrest Landscape Cos. welcomed Gareth Asten to its executive team as the Calabasas, Calif.-based firm’s executive vice president and CFO.

With more than 20 years of working in corporate finance, operations and business leadership, Asten’s experience includes strategic planning; driving profitable growth; and capital and financial strategies. Prior to joining ValleyCrest, he served in various roles at Bolthouse Farms, and most recently as vice president of finance and planning.
Asten has also held designations as a senior associate at Willis Stein & Partners, as an acting CFO/vice president of business development and planning at Ubiquity Brands and as a mergers and acquisitions analyst at Lazard Freres.
