Turfgrass Producers International held officer and board of trustees elections at its annual business meeting, held in Chicago July 24.
Three members were designated to fill the positions of president, vice president and secretary-treasurer, while two members were selected to serve on the board of trustees.
Those elected to office include:
- Bob Weerts, owner of Weerts Construction Co. and president of Blue Valley Sod in Winnebago, Minn., as president;
- Ed Keeven, Jr., president of Emerald View Turf Farm in O’Fallon, Mo., as vice president; and
- Will Nugent, owner of Bethel Farms in Arcadia, Fla., as secretary-treasurer.
Jimmy Fox, president of Evergreen Turf in Chandler, Ariz., and Eric Heuver, president of Eagle Lake Turf Farms in Strathmore, Alberta, Canada, were elected for three-year terms on the board of trustees.
