The ServiceMaster Co. has delayed the spin-off of its TruGreen business, which was targeted to close Dec. 31. The company announced the temporary delay in a Securities and Exchange Commission filing earlier this week.
“ServiceMaster is committed to the planned separation and spin-off of the TruGreen business as being in the best interests of all of its businesses,” the company said in the filing.
A ServiceMaster spokesperson added the companies are “working through closing logistics.”
