The Professional Grounds Management Society (PGMS) bestowed a Gold Medal Award to The Toro Co.
The award, given to an individual or company in recognition of its outstanding and long-term achievements and/or contributions to the green industry, was presented to Paula Sliefert. Senior marketing manager for Toro, Sliefert was recognized during the PGMS’s annual awards and induction dinner on Oct. 24 in conjunction with the 2014 School of Grounds Management and GIE+EXPO.
“We are thrilled to be recognized by PGMS for our commitment to the greens industry,” she said. “By working together with PGMS, Toro has taken an active role in advancing the professional grounds management industry through proactive education and development. Being recognized for our efforts is a real honor. We look forward to a strong partnership between Toro and PGMS for many years to come.”
