The Toro Co. has expanded its line of electronic fuel injected (EFI) mowers with additions to its Z Master Professional 6000 Series and Z Master commercial 3000 Series.
The company says all of its EFI mowers are equipped with Kohler Command Pro closed-loop EFI engines that automatically adapt to load, weather, fuel and altitude changes for faster response and up to 25% better fuel economy.
“Toro has continued to invest in EFI technology because it helps our customers reduce their fuel costs while reducing overall engine emissions,” said Toro Marketing Manager Chris Hannan. “We now have EFI models available in our Commercial 3000 Series, our Professional 5000 and 6000 Series and our GrandStand stand-on mowers.”
For landscape customers, the company offers two 34 hp EFI Z Master Professional 6000 Series mowers with a 60-in or 72-in deck. The Kohler closed-loop EFI system uses less fuel and reduces the engine’s CO2 emissions, so it’s friendly to the environment while reducing fuel costs, according to Toro. The new EFI models, like all Toro Professional 6000 Series mowers, feature Toro’s Turbo Force deck, which is built for durability and stable handling while delivering a “pristine” after-cut appearance. They also feature a thick, cushioned deluxe suspension seat and 3-D isolator mounts that absorb vibration and reduce operator fatigue.
The new EFI mower option in its Commercial 3000 Series features a 27 hp Kohler Command Pro EFI engine and a 60-in Turbo Force deck. In addition to reducing fuel consumption by up to 25%, the company said it features no-choke starting, an engine sensor that monitors the engine while running, and indicator lights that provide early warning of any potential issues before they occur. It also has a Toro Turbo Force deck that features a fully welded and fabricated 7-gauge high-strength steel shell that delivers an “unmatched” after-cut appearance.
