The Toro Co. added five new 3/4-in. rotor models to its T5 RapidSet Series rotor product line: the Shrub, Shrub Effluent, 12-in. High Pop, High Pop Effluent and Lawn Effluent models.
The RapidSet rotors each feature a tool-free arc adjustment, which allow the arc orientation and angle to be quickly set or changed through a combination of twists of the nozzle turret, says the company. In addition, the rotors include a slip clutch that protects the turret gears and components from damage. They can also cover arcs of 40 degrees to 360 degrees.
“The T5 RapidSet rotor is the market’s first 3/4-in. rotor to make intentional use of the slip clutch for arc adjustments, which allows adjustments to be made without the need for any tools,” says Orion Goe, product marketing manager for residential and commercial irrigation. “The T5 RapidSet can be set in seconds, and the ease and speed of adjustments is unparalleled.”
The Shrub and High Pop models also features the company’s Arfoil Technology nozzles, which have the ability to create a low pressure zone under the nozzle openings and deliver up-close watering profiles, says Toro.
