While coffee and landscaping may go hand-in-hand, coffee makers and on-the-go use may not necessarily fit as well.
Appliance maker OXX Inc., debuted its Coffeebox single-serving coffee maker at the GIE+EXPO. OXX has dubbed it as the “world’s toughest coffee maker.”

Weighing in at 12 lbs, the Coffeeboxx is portable, crush-proof up to 1,500 lbs., water-resistant, impact-resistant, dust-proof and rust-proof. It is compatible with all K-Cup coffee pods including OXX’s Workhorse Fuel coffee pods. It brews one 8-, 10- or 12-ounce cup at a time.
“This is a machine you do not have to baby at all,” explained Marco Martinez, customer service manager of Coffeeboxx, during his chat with Editor-in-Chief, Seth Jones. “It’s easy to hook up to a 2,000 watt soundwave converter or a small generator.”
Features include rubber carrying handle, stainless steel tie-downs, folding/removable drip try and a retractable power cord, hot water line and meets IP54 standards.

The company says its conducted several tests on Coffeeboxx’s toughness, including surviving a small explosion, parking a Jeep Wrangler atop four machines and more recently a 15,000 lbs front loader. Each time, OXX says the coffee maker has come out unscathed.
