COMPANY Ruppert Landscape

DETAILS Home to concerts and the largest women’s-only tennis tournament in North America, Credit One Stadium is a large, dynamic site that requires perfect execution.

As a result, Ruppert Landscape serves up constant upkeep of the property’s 13 acres of turf, 150 mature trees, 11,000 irrigation heads and 13,500 annuals through full-service lawn, landscaping, irrigation and pest services. With the size of the project, Crisler Vaughn, Ruppert’s senior account manager and horticulturist, says his team is able to slice through tough scheduling and rain issues with strict time management and adaptability.

And despite the high standards that come with a premier tournament and concert venue, Vaughn says he enjoys still having fun and being creative with the site, giving it an extra layer of personality with details such as a flower bed being designed to look like a tennis ball.

“My favorite part of commercial landscaping is being creative with designs, especially annual flower beds,” Vaughn says. “The tennis ball bed is one of my favorites.”

And these extra details didn’t go unnoticed, as Ruppert Landscape won a gold award from the National Association of Landscape Professionals’ 2024 Awards of Excellence program for this project.
