The Associated Landscape Contractors of Colorado (ALCC) bestowed its inaugural ELITE award to Swingle Lawn, Tree & Landscape Care for its “Beecause We Care” campaign.
The ELITE awards, which stand for Elevating the Landscape Industry Through Excellence, is given to a company that offers a creative solution to a problem facing Colorado landscapes.
Via its Beecause We Care campaign, Swingle took a stance to reduce the impact of pesticides on honeybees while continuing to provide quality tree and plant health care services to customers in Colorado.
“An apparent need exists for a partnership between the green industry and beekeepers to protect the honeybees while ensuring healthy Colorado landscapes,” said John Swayze, routing manager for Swingle and Colorado beekeeper.
