Stihl‘s recently introduced the MSA 300 C-O, the most powerful battery chainsaw in its lineup. Certified by the American Green Zone Alliance (AGZA) the chainsaw features a lightweight design with rubberized soft-touch handle and anti-vibration technology.
“The MSA 300 C-O gives pros the benefits of battery in a chain saw that delivers professional-grade performance,“ said Josh Allen, product manager at Stihl. “It’s also the first of its kind to utilize the power laminate cell technology in the AP 500 S, which increases the life of the battery compared to the previous batter model.“
The chainsaw is designed for tree care professionals, arborists, professional landscapers and more and features power comparable to the company’s gas-powered MS 271 Farm Boss.
Additional features include:
- Electronic operating system allows the operator to monitor the tool’s low oil sensor.
- Two captive bar nuts held securely in place to eliminate the risk of dropping or losing the bar nut during maintenance.
- Fleece air filter to keep cool and clean air circulated around the motor and electronics.
- Side-access chain tensioner adds convenience for the user to adjust that saw chain with a bar wrench.
- Quickstop chain brake system designed to reduce injury in certain kickback situations.
