At the 2023 Equip Exposition show, Stihl debuted the company’s new RZA 700 series battery zero-turn mowers. The Stihl RZA 748 (48-inch deck width), Stihl RZA 752 (52-inch deck width) and Stihl RZA 760 (60-inch deck width) boast heavy-duty mower decks, fabricated with 17 height positions and a cutting height range of 1-5 inches.

The units feature a built-in 24 kWh battery and can reach a speed of 16 mph. Additionally, a run time of up to eight hours allows the unit to mow up to 21 acres in a day’s work, with a fast charge time of approximately four hours (achieved with an optional 8kW charger).

“The Stihl RZA 700 Series battery zero-turn mowers are designed and manufactured for all-day commercial use, with constant power that maintains a quality cut,” said Brian Manke, Sithl product segment manager. “We are excited to offer landscape contractors three additional machines to our growing zero-turn lineup.”

In addition to the power and performance, Stihl said professionals can benefit from a variety of features. The mower features an adjustable, commercial-grade suspension seat with armrests. The machine’s intelligent drive system maintains constant blade tip speed, even in tall, thick and wet grass conditions. The unit is also equipped with 4G/GPS connectivity, a glove-friendly touchscreen display and USB-A and USB-C charge ports.
