Spring Valley, provider of premium turf fertilizers and ice melters for Green Industry professionals and the retail market, has promoted Dave Wacker to general manager.
Wacker, who previously served as sales manager, will continue with those duties in addition to new responsibilities that include developing and executing strategic plans and objectives; communicating company goals and objectives; and overseeing the day-to-day activities of operations, human resources, and sales and marketing.
“Dave earned this opportunity by showing his ability to make key decisions and changes where necessary, and by building the respect and trust of his peers, Spring Valley CEO Bill Vogel said. “This is an important move for Spring Valley’s growth into the future.”
Spring Valley professional products are available through a network of national distributors and independent dealers that service green industry markets such as professional lawn and landscape, golf, sports field, and nursery and greenhouse. The company’s brands and private label products are also found in several retail locations throughout the U.S.
