SnowEx expanded its line of snow plows with the addition of a professional-grade V-Plow for UTVs.
Measuring 6 feet wide, the plow blade angles to 5 feet wide to fit most sidewalks and through gates. The UTV V-Plow is configurable to straight blade position, V position and Bucket Blade scoop positions.
The UTV plow blade is constructed of high-strength, low-alloy steel components that are stronger and lighter than regular steel. It’s also reinforced with six vertical ribs for additional stability. And the 5-inch hardened steel cutting edge has built-in trip-edge protection, which will trip in any position without losing the snow load, the company said.
Operators can choose between the Power Grip hand-held control with backlit buttons or a compact joystick control. The plow can be angled with just one touch of a button. Both controls feature “power on” and float LED lights and are compatible with SnowEx Fleet Flex, an electrical system that provides complete fleet interchangeability between other SnowEx plows.
The hydraulic system is built with standard double acting cylinders that allow the operator to independently move each wing or lock them together for straight blade operation and back dragging. A poly cover protects hydraulic components, while allowing easy access for maintenance, SnowEx said.
SnowEx UTV V-Plow accessories include wing extensions, shoe assemblies and deflector kits.
