Senninger, a manufacturer and designer of irrigation products, unveiled its new Pressure Regulator Ultra (PRU), a high-flow, 2-inch pressure regulator.
The PRU is designed to maintain a preset outlet pressure with flows of 20 to 100 gallons per minute (4542 to 22713 liters per hour). The inlet/outlet is offered in either a 2-inch FNPT or 2-inch FBSPT configuration, depending on the desired application. The compact size—9 inches by 4.5 inches or 22.9 inches by 11.4 centimeters—of the PRU makes it an excellent choice for installations with limited space, higher flows and the need for accurate zone control, the company said.
The design incorporates a large flow path that reduces hysteresis, friction loss and resists plugging. The unit is manufactured with corrosion resistant materials that can withstand harsh water conditions and chemicals. It carries a two-year manufacturer’s warranty on materials, workmanship and performance.
