SavATree expands footprint with latest round of mergers

SavATree, No. 7 on the 2023 LM150 list, recently merged with Charleston Tree Experts, Cordwin Tree Service, Organic Plant Care and Tree Mechanics. The latest partnerships expand SavATree’s presence within its existing footprint and reach nationwide.

Charleston (S.C.) Tree Experts was formed in 2012 and has a reputation for preserving and enriching the beauty and health of trees.

Cordwin Tree Services, located in Reddick, Fla, has provided comprehensive tree care throughout the North Central Florida area since its incorporation in 2003.

Founder Chad Cordwin spoke on the merger and stated, “Teaming up with SavATree presents an incredible opportunity for us to combine our extensive local experience, bolstering our capacity to serve our communities and loyal client base. Together, we share our dedication to delivering outstanding tree and plant health care services, ensuring our customers’ satisfaction remains our top priority.”

Founded by Bill Grundmann in 2009, Organic Plant Care is based out of Frenchtown, N.J., and offers tree care, plant health care and lawn care services across central New Jersey.

Tree Mechanics provides tree and lawn care services to communities throughout Northern Wyoming and Southeastern Montana with locations in Buffalo, Wyo. and Billings, Mont.

The move continues the acquisition trend for the company. Recent moves include mergers with Ken’s Tree Care, T4 Tree Services and Yellowstone Valley Tree Surgeons and with Arborscapes, Mr. Amoto Lawn & Tree Service and Sussex Tree. Additional moves have seen SavaTree expand into Tennessee and Colorado. In 2023 the company also added Utah-based Atlas Tree Service, Boise Tree, Texas Tree Team, Lyndon Tree Care & LandscapingWest Michigan Tree ServicesCapital City Tree Experts and Central Texas Tree Care.
