SavATree has merged with Montana-based tree care company, Bozeman Tree, Lawn and Pest. This merger introduces SavATree’s presence in the Montana market, serving customers throughout Gallatin County and the surrounding areas.
SavATree also expanded its presence in Illinois with a merger with Nels Johnson Tree Experts of Evanston, Ill.
Terms of both agreements were not disclosed.
Bozeman Tree merger
Since 2000, Bozeman Tree, Pest & Lawn has been delivering personalized care to its customers in Southwest Montana. Owner of Bozeman Tree, Lawn and Pest, Jeff Pfeil, along with his dedicated team, will stay on with SavATree.

Nels Johnson Tree Experts merger
SavATree’s merger with Nels Johnson Tree Experts broadens the company’s presence in the Midwest market, serving customers throughout Chicagoland and Northern Illinois.
Since 1930, Nels Johnson Tree Experts has provided services to their customers. Owners of Nels Johnson Tree Experts, Erik and John Johnson, along with their dedicated team, will remain on board with SavATree.
“Ensuring the continuity of our personalized care and attention was important to us,” Erik Johnson said. “Our commitment to quality is something that we weren’t willing to sacrifice, and we knew that merging with SavATree wouldn’t compromise our premiere client relationships. Schiavone said partnering with the oldest family owned tree and plant health company in Chicagoland is an exciting move.
