LAYTONSVILLE, MD.—Peter Oshana has joined Ruppert Landscape as business development manager of the Forestville (Md.) Landscape Management branch.
Oshana, a resident of Millersville, Md., brings both industry experience as well as business management experience to his new position with Ruppert. He has nearly three years of landscape industry experience and more than 10 years of sales and business management experience. He holds a bachelor’s of arts degree from Westfield State University, where he majored in public relations and communication. In his spare time, he coaches ice hockey with Navy Youth Hockey in Annapolis.“Peter’s communication skills and strong work ethic make him a good fit for our organization,” says Jack Jones, branch manager for Ruppert’s Forestville Landscape Management branch. “Not only does he bring with him many strong industry connections, but he is also holds himself and his work to a high standard—and is just a fun guy to be around, making him a great addition to our team.”
Ruppert’s Landscape provides commercial landscape construction and management in Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Georgia and North Carolina from 15 branch offices and has a long-standing tradition of giving back to the community. In addition, the company operates a 475-acre wholesale tree nursery specializing in large tree growing and moving in Montgomery County, Md.
