The sale of R.I.G. Construction Inc. has been finalized in an all-stock deal with WindPower Innovations Inc., a firm that acquires and operates environmentally friendly technology and energy companies.
R.I.G. Construction, a Mesa, Ariz.-based firm that has two subsidiaries–Cameo Pools and Cameo Landscaping–and operates a division of Cameo Pools under the name Cameo Solar, is now a wholly owned subsidiary of WindPower Innovations. R.I.G. Construction President Larry Duffy and Chief Operating Officer Steven Vollaro remain controlling officers of the company.
“Our industry has been experiencing an upturn in the market and with our brand recognition we are greatly benefiting from this revival,” Duffy said. “We therefore expect to announce significant increases in revenue over previous years.”
Added Vollaro, “I’m looking forward to the increased visibility that being pubic affords to further develop and expand our well known Cameo Brands that have stood for quality and integrity for over 35 years.”
